Norris Design is growing in Phoenix and Tucson. We are searching for full-time landscape architects and land planners to add to our talented team. The ideal landscape architect candidates for the Phoenix office should have 3-5 years of experience (internships included) in a professional office. The ideal planner candidates for the Phoenix should have 2 years of experience. The Tucson office is looking for entry level landscape architect candidates with 1-3 years of experience (internships included) in a professional office. The candidate shall have excellent hand graphic and design skills, be proficient with AutoCAD, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, and Excel. An understanding of Adobe In-Design, 3D Studio Max and Sketch Up is beneficial. The candidate shall be enthusiastic, creative, and have the ability to think pro-actively. Salary and benefits are commensurate with position and qualifications. Land Development, Residential, including Master Planned Community experience preferred.

The Uptown Houston is an organization with a primary focus and purpose to leverage public funds with coordinated private resources to improve facilities and services as well as accelerate improvements in the Uptown Houston.
Uptown Houston, through its tax reinvestment zone (TIRZ), recently incorporated Memorial Park into its service area. Memorial Park is among the largest urban parks in the U.S., and is Houston's largest inner city park covering almost 1,500 acres. The Memorial Park Project - a twenty-year, $100 million park improvement program - is just now being launched as part of Houston Parks and Recreation Department's, Memorial Park Conservancy's and Uptown Houston's partnership to make vital improvements in Memorial Park. Specifics of the Project will be determined by the proposed master plan for Memorial Park, which will be developed in 2013 - 2014.
